How to Decorate your Kitchen Table

in DIY & Home Decor on 04/27/20

I use my kitchen table almost everyday and definitely more than my dining room table. I’m sure that is true for most people! So I like to make sure my kitchen table incorporates decor but also includes the items we use during meal time!

How to decorate your kitchen table with 3 simple ideas. Simple centerpieces, accessibility and tea bar, coffee bar, wine bar. Using tiered trays for centerpieces.

I broke down my advice into three easy ways to decorate your kitchen table:

1- Keep it simple

This is my favorite way to decorate my table because I hate clutter. So I usually have a simple vase with tall florals in the center.

I also love this pedestal tray I bought from Real Deals in Rochester, MN! This tray can be used SO many different ways!

2- Accessibility is key!

For those of you that like to keep items like salt and pepper on your table I recommend finding a spinning tray/lazy susan tray. That way when you and your family sits down to a meal the tray can spin and everyone has easy access to the items on the tray.

Maybe you have napkins, sauces or something else always on your kitchen table. Take everything and organize it on the tray so it’s decluttered and clean looking. Top off the tray with a vase and flowers!

3- Have fun with it!

I am a huge a tea drinker so I created a tea bar on my kitchen table. Maybe you are a coffee lover? Use a tiered tray and create a fun coffee bar for yourself and your family to use it the morning.

Why not try a wine bar! Add your favorite bottle of wine, glasses, some snacks, cute decor and BOOM you have yourself a fun girls night centerpiece!

Remember, the key to decorating is to have a good foundation of decluttering and organization! So if you feel as though your kitchen table is always a mess, figure out better places for those items creating the mess!
