Mary Kay Mascara Reviews
I have only heard good things about Mary Kay beauty products and after attending a few test sessions with one of my friends, Megan, who is a Mary Kay consultant, I wanted to share with all of you my thoughts on two mascaras. I haven’t used them for long, but they were given to me to try and review; Mary Kay Lash Intensity Mascara and Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara:
This Mascara is unique because it has two types of bristles on its wand. First, the short bristles give your lashes volume and the long bristles give your lashes length. I was a little confused at first about that, but now I understand why this works so well!
I believe you will get the best results if you do four coats total; the first two coats with the short bristles and last two coats with the longer bristles. That seems like a lot of coats, but it really works! This mascara is also very affordable and I HIGHLY recommend you give it a try if you want volume and length! Here is my review:
The Ultimate Mascara has a very typical wand. I love how this mascara glides on and brightens up my eyes! I don’t get as much volume or length as the Last Intensity Mascara, but this is a good “everyday look” mascara that won’t break your budget.
Here is my review:
Both of these Mary Kay mascaras’ ingredients also exceed EU standards for safety and they are suitable for those of you with sensitive eyes.
My Mary Kay Beauty consultant, Megan, is offering a free mini oil-free eye makeup remover with a purchase of any mascara on her website. The eye makeup remover is gentle and removes eye makeup in a flash AND who doesn’t love FREE stuff, right??? Go to her website and type “Lilies” in the comments when checking out to receive your FREE mini oil-free eye makeup remover!
I have always wanted to try the “cat-eye” sunglasses and was a little nervous about buying these. But I LOVE them, these sunnies were so affordable and fit perfectly! The mirrored looked seems to be all the rage lately. Plus Francesca’s is awesome so I knew I would love them!
Kind is the New Classy: The Power of Living Graciously is Candace Cameron Bure’s new book and I LOVE it! I have always loved “DJ Tanner” and as a fellow Christian, I admire the way she stands up for her beliefs in a society where it is not easy to do so. Candace explains her view on how we, as women, can start making this world a little better place by being Kind. She uses her Christian values, experiences, personal stories, and science to shape her beliefs on kindness. I strongly recommend this book and think that one by one, we can use the GLORY of GOD to start slowly making this world a little better 🙂
I have been wanting these slip-on sneakers for weeks and I finally had a coupon for DSW so I bought them! So comfy, cute and casual. Perfect for jeans, shorts or a casual dress.
Happy shopping 😉
